1. Who we are
Zoinly ("Zoinly", "we", "us") provides a software platform that helps gym, PG (paying-guest hostel) and PG owners manage members or tenants, payments and daily operations. This policy explains what data we collect, from whom, and how we use it. Contact us at hello@zoinly.com with any questions.
2. Data we collect
We collect data from two groups of people:
- Business owners, managers and staff who create a Zoinly account: name, phone number, email, password (stored hashed), and business details (organization name, city, business type).
- Members and tenants of a business using Zoinly: name, phone number, photo, date of birth, emergency contact, ID proof documents (where uploaded by the business), and records of attendance, payments and outstanding dues.
Members and tenants are customers of the business using Zoinly, not customers of Zoinly directly — the business owner is responsible for the accuracy of records entered about their own customers and for obtaining any consent required to do so.
3. How we use data
- To provide the core product — member/tenant records, attendance, billing and dues tracking.
- To send reminders (WhatsApp/SMS/email) about dues and expiring memberships, on behalf of the business.
- To process payments through our payment processor when online payment is used.
- To provide customer support and respond to enquiries.
- To improve the product — in aggregated or anonymized form wherever possible.
4. Payments
Zoinly charges business owners a software subscription fee, billed to the card or payment method on file. When a business enables online payments for its own members or tenants, that payment is processed by a third-party payment gateway — Zoinly does not store full card numbers.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us run the product (hosting, payment processing, WhatsApp/SMS delivery), each bound to protect it, or when required by law.
6. Data retention
We retain account and business records for as long as the account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations. A business owner can request deletion of their organization's data by contacting us.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by writing to hello@zoinly.com. If you are a member or tenant of a business using Zoinly, you may also raise this directly with that business, as they control the record.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified to account owners by email or in-app notice.
